Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the rules and guidelines for using PolyMedium's services. By using our platform, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

2. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, generate, or share content that:

2.1 Illegal Content

• Violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Promotes illegal activities or substances
• Contains or distributes child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Facilitates human trafficking or exploitation

2.2 Harmful Content

• Promotes violence, terrorism, or self-harm
• Contains hate speech or discriminates against protected groups
• Harasses, bullies, or threatens individuals
• Contains graphic violence or gore

2.3 Adult Content

• Sexually explicit or pornographic material
• Non-consensual intimate imagery
• Content sexualizing minors in any way

2.4 Deceptive Content

• Malware, viruses, or malicious code
• Phishing attempts or scams
• Misleading or fraudulent content
• Impersonation of others

3. Intellectual Property

You must respect intellectual property rights:

• Only upload images you own or have rights to use
• Do not upload copyrighted material without authorization
• Do not upload trademarked logos or brands without permission
• Respect others' creative works and attributions

3.1 Prohibited Copyrighted Content

The following types of content are strictly prohibited:

• Characters from Nintendo properties (Mario, Zelda, Pokémon, etc.)
• Marvel or DC Comics characters
• Disney, Pixar, or DreamWorks characters
• Characters from anime, manga, or video games without rights
• Trademarked logos, brand assets, or corporate identities
• Any other copyrighted or trademarked intellectual property

3.2 Takedown Requests

If you believe content on PolyMedium infringes your intellectual property rights, you may submit a takedown request to polymediumcontacts@gmail.com with the following information:

• Your name and contact information
• Description of the copyrighted work being infringed
• Link or description of the infringing content on PolyMedium
• Statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
• Statement that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights owner

We will review takedown requests and remove infringing content within a reasonable timeframe.

4. Public Gallery Guidelines

When sharing content to the public gallery, additional rules apply:

• Content must be appropriate for all audiences
• Titles and descriptions must be accurate and non-offensive
• Do not spam the gallery with low-quality or repetitive content
• Do not use misleading titles or descriptions to attract views
• Respect other creators and engage constructively
• Do not upload copyrighted characters or trademarked IP (see Section 3.1)

4.1 Reporting Gallery Content

You can report problematic gallery content directly from the asset detail view by clicking the "Report" button. Alternatively, email polymediumcontacts@gmail.com with:

• Link to or description of the problematic asset
• Reason for the report (copyright, inappropriate content, etc.)
• Any supporting information

5. System Integrity

To maintain service quality for all users, you may not:

• Attempt to bypass wallet billing or security measures
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Probe or test vulnerabilities without permission
• Access other users' accounts or data
• Resell or redistribute service access without authorization

6. Fair Use

While we don't impose strict generation limits beyond your wallet balance, we expect reasonable use:

• Don't abuse the system with excessive automated requests
• Don't intentionally generate content that wastes computational resources
• Use the service as intended for legitimate 3D asset creation

7. Commercial Use

You may use generated assets commercially, subject to these conditions:

• You must have rights to the source images used
• You are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws
• You may not claim the AI generation process as your own proprietary technology
• Attribution to PolyMedium is appreciated but not required

8. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this policy:

• Report it to polymediumcontacts@gmail.com
• Include the relevant asset ID, user, or description
• Provide any supporting evidence if available

We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

9. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

• Content removal
• Warning notifications
• Temporary account suspension
• Permanent account termination
• Legal action where appropriate

The severity of enforcement depends on the nature and frequency of violations. We reserve the right to take action at our discretion.

10. Appeals

If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting polymediumcontacts@gmail.com with:

• Your account email
• Details of the action taken
• Your explanation or justification

We will review appeals and respond within 10 business days.

11. Updates

We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated through the service or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
