Copyright Policy

1. Overview

PolyMedium respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the service to do the same. We comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"). This policy describes how to report alleged copyright infringement, how to submit a counter-notice, and how to reach our Designated Copyright Agent.

2. Reporting Infringement (DMCA Notice)

If you believe in good faith that material on the service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our Designated Agent that includes all of the following:

• Your physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
• The URL or sufficient detail to locate the allegedly infringing material on PolyMedium
• Your contact information (address, telephone, email)
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

3. Counter-Notice

If your content was removed in response to a DMCA notice and you believe it was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to our Designated Agent containing the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). We may reinstate the content after 10 to 14 business days unless we receive notice that a court action has been filed.

4. Repeat Infringers

Accounts that are the subject of repeated valid takedown notices may be suspended or terminated in accordance with our Terms of Service.

5. Gallery Reporting

Any user can flag a gallery asset directly using the "Report" button on the asset's detail page. Reports are routed to our moderation team for review.
