    Wallet & Pricing

    How billing works

PolyMedium runs on a simple prepaid wallet. Fund it once, then pay a fixed dollar price per model. No credits, no tokens, no conversions. The price of each queued row is shown before you commit.

    What things cost

    • •Objects: $0.25 draft, restaged, with the side your camera never saw synthesised and reconstructed from both views. $0.50 for Best, our heaviest reconstruction engine.
    • •Kids' drawings: $0.25 draft, or $0.50 for Best. Either way the crayon look is kept, never cleaned up.
    • •Characters: three qualities: $0.50 Budget, $1.00 Standard (the default, and the one that held identity best in our bench), and $3.00 Hero for figurine-grade models. People and creatures are the hardest subject, and the engines that win on them cost more to run.
    • •Upgrades: any finished model can move up its own ladder. You pay that rung's price, once. It re-runs the same subject and saves a new model, so you keep the original.
    • •Make it real: $0.25, offered on a finished kid's drawing. Reimagines the doodle as an actual object and models that.
    • •Exports (GLB, USDZ, STL, turntable GIF) are always free

See the Pricing page for the same table and the FAQ.

    Failed jobs are free

If a job fails, the charge is refunded to your wallet automatically. You only pay for finished models.

    Top ups & starter balance

New accounts receive a small starter balance on signup: $3.00, which is twelve $0.25 models (or three characters at Standard), with no card required. After that, top up from the Wallet page with any whole-dollar amount from $10 to $1,000 ($10, $30, and $100 are one click). Balances never expire.

    Auto-refill

Don't want to think about the balance? Turn on auto-refill on the Wallet page: when a generation drops your balance below your chosen threshold, the card you saved during a top-up is charged your chosen refill amount ($10, $30, or $100) automatically. It is capped at two auto-refills per day, and if your card ever declines, auto-refill switches itself off rather than retrying. You can turn it off any time; the balance simply stops refilling.
