    Your First 3D Asset

The whole product is: upload an image, get a 3D model. Objects and kids' drawings are $0.25, characters $1.00 at standard quality. There is no category to pick; we work that out and show you what we found before you spend anything. And you won't be doing this alone the first time: a small arrow tutorial rides along your first run, pointing at each button in turn (with a Skip tutorial option on every step).

    Step 1: Sign In

Sign in with Google or create an account with an email address. New accounts start with a $3.00 balance applied automatically at signup. That's twelve $0.25 models, and no card is required to spend it.

    Step 2: Create a Project

Press New Project on your dashboard (the tutorial arrow points at it), type a name, and press Create. Everything else in the dialog is optional. A project is just a folder for related assets. If you only want one model, use Quick Generate instead and skip this step.

    Step 3: Upload an Image

Drop in a JPG, PNG, or WebP (up to 15 MB) of the thing you want in 3D: a photo, a screenshot or a drawing. You can drop several at once. Don't fuss over the shot: backgrounds, lighting, and clutter are cleaned up automatically when the image is restaged into a studio reference before reconstruction. An everyday phone photo is exactly what this is built for.

    Step 4: Review the Queue

Before anything is charged, PolyMedium looks at each image and detects whether it's a character, an object, or a hand-drawn doodle. Each row in the queue shows the detected subject as a badge, and the badge sets the price, which is shown right on the row. Got one wrong? Tap the badge and correct it. Character rows also let you pick a quality ($0.50 Budget, $1.00 Standard by default, or $3.00 Hero), and drawing rows carry a crayon-toy / make-it-real style toggle. The footer totals the batch against your wallet before you commit.

    Step 5: Generate

Press Start Generation. Objects and drawings are $0.25, characters default to $1.00, taken from your prepaid wallet. Generation typically takes 30 to 60 seconds per model and you'll see progress while it works. If a job fails, the charge is refunded to your wallet automatically; you never need to ask. Drawings are never "cleaned up" along the way: the crayon marks are the point.

Step 6: Optional. Upgrade the Keepers

A finished model can move up its own ladder: an object or a drawing to Best ($0.50), a character to $1.00 or $3.00. It re-runs the same subject on the better engine, so a model already at the top of its ladder has nothing to upgrade to. Models made from a kid's drawing get "Make it real" ($0.25) instead, which rebuilds the drawing as an actual object alongside the crayon version. Both create a new asset; the original stays put.

    Step 7: Export and Use

Export as GLB (recommended, with Web / Game / Mobile presets), USDZ for iOS AR, STL for 3D printing, or a turntable GIF. Exports are free and unlimited. GLB works with Unity, Unreal, Godot, Blender, and Roblox Studio.
