AI-generated 3D models for Unity
Updated August 30, 2026 · Published August 29, 2026
PolyMedium generates 3D assets ready for Unity. Outputs are game-tuned GLB with baked PBR materials that import cleanly via glTFast or UnityGLTF, in the editor or at runtime. Props and set dressing are $0.25 a model, so blocking out a scene costs about what a coffee does.
How it works
- 1
Upload a reference
Photo of the subject on a clean background. PolyMedium detects whether it's a character or an object and runs the matching pipeline; you never pick a lane.
- 2
Generate, batch if you like
$0.25 per object or drawing, $1.00 for a character at standard quality. Batch a folder of prop references and the queue totals the cost before you commit.
- 3
Upgrade the ones you keep
Prototype cheap, then spend $0.25 more to re-run the keepers on our heaviest engine. Same subject, better engine, new model alongside the original. This is the workflow the pricing is built for: iterate wide at draft, pay for quality narrow.

Import to Unity
Install glTFast from the Package Manager and drop the GLB into Assets, or load it at runtime. Materials are generated for your active render pipeline: URP Lit, HDRP Lit, or Built-in Standard. Choose the Web, Game, or Mobile preset at export to match your polycount and texture budget.
Why PolyMedium fits
- • GLB with baked PBR (base color, normal, roughness/metallic)
- • glTFast and UnityGLTF compatible, editor and runtime import
- • Materials map to URP, HDRP, or Built-in automatically via glTFast
- • Web / Game / Mobile presets for different quality and size targets
- • $0.25 for props; characters from $0.50

FAQ
How do I import a GLB into Unity?
Install glTFast from the Package Manager and drag the GLB into your Assets folder. glTFast generates materials for your active render pipeline (URP Lit, HDRP Lit, or Standard). UnityGLTF works too if it is already in your project.
Do PBR materials work in Unity?
Yes. Base color, normal, and roughness/metallic maps are baked into the GLB and picked up automatically by glTFast. No manual material assignment.
What does it cost to fill out a prototype scene?
$0.25 per object, so twenty props is $5.00. Characters are the exception: $0.50, $1.00 at standard quality, or $3.00 for a hero model. Upgrading a finished model to a higher quality is always optional and costs the difference between the rungs.
